Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are…
Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect Tomorrow.
One day I shall dig my nails into the earth,
or bury my face in my pillow,
or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky
and want, more than all the world, your return.

365 Week 3

Rebekah got seasons 1 & 2 of Gilmore Girls for Christmas. We've worked our way through every episode now, seasons 1-8. I'll really miss hanging out with her in the evening next year. I'll miss watching Gilmore Girls. I'll really miss my girl. We sent in her housing contract this week. *sigh*
Good thing I really think she's going to love OU.

At the risk of sounding a hundred years old, don't kids use paper and pencil anymore?

Two of my favorite people. Sad occasion, but so fun to have them in town unexpectedly.

It's not just women/girls. Everyone's hairdressers apparently don't know what "just a smidge off" means. Luckily he still looks very cute, but we did specifically say to barely touch the bangs.

How cool is that? Thanks Lego Atlantis for all the moments of joy you bring my boy.

Finals Week. Studying, studying.
She's inching closer to ending her high school career. *double sigh*

(Okay, this week I finally learned how to turn off my flash, but now most of my pictures are coming out blurry because the shutter is so slow to compensate for the lack of light. Ideas anyone???)

Quinn, one of the little guys I watch. That's one happy baby.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who takes pictures of the television screen :)

It seem to me that kids write on everything BUT paper.

Love that happy baby!

Oh I love Gilmore Girls!! I miss that show.

It is hard when you turn the flash off to not get the blurry. I am not sure what type of camera you have but usually you just have to bump up the ISO a lot or get the shutter speed faster. Or just make sure you have lots of light. :)

Great pictures though, really shows your week.

Your son reminds me of my oldest. Sunglasses and legos. That's what life is really about.

Haha I used to use my hand instead of paper quite a bit. You don't forget it and you're constantly reminded. ;)

Good luck to your daughter heading off to college, and good luck to you adjusting to not having her there.

Great photos. And I can feel how sad you are just through your words about Rebekah leaving for college. How far away is her school?

And I think a trip to my part of the world is in order for you and Jacob:
