Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are…
Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect Tomorrow.
One day I shall dig my nails into the earth,
or bury my face in my pillow,
or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky
and want, more than all the world, your return.

I love the poetic feel of what you write for each shot. It just sounds so cool (in my head of course)!!

Sorry about the sick one. And the dumb toy (I'm glad I read this because my 8 year old has been BEGGING me for that one...now I can talk her out of it). And all the snow (although you seem fine with it, so maybe I'm not sorry).

LOVE the hindsight shot.

Snow Day?! Out here in the wild west I could count on one hand the number of snow days we EVER had. And we get snow, believe me. As kids we just got tossed to the elements, and it was make school, or die.

Lots of Star Wars is still one of my favorite ways to get over sickness :)

Very cool pictures -- I love that rear view mirror shot!

I loved that snow shot and how you darkened the edges. Then I saw the next snow shot taken of the reflection in the mirror. That one then became my favorite. Nice shots!

LOVE the photos & how you put this together. I'm with everyone, I could see/hear it in my head. No snow for us, well it's yet to be seen. we're supposed to get snow Friday & I live ON the beach in Biloxi, MS. Lol.... but, it can only prepare me for the next however many years of my life living in Omaha, NE (we move in July). Stopping in from PSF. I've been a slacker & haven't made it around to all the regular participants yet. I've been the sick one. I could just see it in his face/cheeks how bad he felt, poor guy. Hope you guys thaw out soon!

I love the photo taken from the mirror of your car. Awesome shot!

Here it is February, and we've yet to have one snow day. That's not to say we haven't had snow. I can't think of at least two days that school should have been at least delayed. Bah humbug.

Snow and sickness.....I hope next week is warmer and healthier. :)

By the way, love the review mirror shot. I try to do that every now and then.

It's currently snowing here like crazy...which is big news for us southern folk! I feel like I'm getting the best of both worlds...snow day on a weekend! :)

I'd love the snow pictures if it weren't for the fact that I'm severely over snow now. *L* Otherwise though they are great. ;)

Hope your son is feeling better. That stinks that he's sick again. :(

Holy cow that is a LOT of snow... I would love just a tad of it here... not much, but enough to get my fill for the year! I can't remember the last time I saw the stuff.

I am amazed at all the snow you're getting. I supposedly live in one of the snow capitals of the US, and we've had a very meager snow total this year so far. Nice pics, as always.

How fun, our houses match this week (although I forgot to put on Star Wars-- could've stopped some of the stir crazy). I love the mirror shot the best-- and I love your snow! Hope all is well soon!
