Isn't it odd...we never know anyone who's deeply in debt, who's cheating on/being cheated on, who'd contemplating divorce, who's abusing drugs, who's an alcoholic, who abuses their child, who is abused...?
Statistics tell us it's all around us, but we never see it. Sad in a way. We all sit here thinking/worrying we're so different than everyone else, when really, maybe we're not so different after all.

No... things really aren't what they seem to be. Usually ever. And it's funny to realize how much people hide about themselves for fear of being exposed.
I do but I think that it's because of what I do - i'ma lawyer.
But on another note, yesterday I think that people had it kind of in their faces, at least here in the Boston area. A woman called one of our local pop music stations. They usually do those prank calls where family or friends call in about a joke that would be funny to play. This one though, a woman called in and needed help to see if her husband was cheating so the radio show hosts pretended they were calling from a wireless company. They were offering to send a dozen roses anywhere in the country for this husband because of his loyalty to the company. He ended up asking that they send them to another woman along with the note "To Tammy (who isn't his wife), I hope all our dreams come true."
Really sad.
Oh this post is so good. I mean SAD! but true! Hope everything is okay! Email me if you want to Stac!
I believe some hide out of pride. Lately I've wished I knew somebody that was going through the same thing that I am. So we could talk and maybe make some sense out of it all.
Sorry to hear you're taking a blogging break, will miss your updates! But totally understand the need for one, I feel, at times, like I really need to do that too. I hope that whatever is going on resolves itself quickly! Sending you some prayers and hugs.
Not often. It's too scary. And no I don't think anyone is different. We all have skeletons in our closets.
