My parents are traveling this Thanksgiving. They're going far. They're old. It could be a wonderful trip or it could be a terribly stressful, horrible trip. I'm praying all goes well for them.
Lori's grandmother died. Jason and Lori are traveling to Syracuse for the funeral. In not great weather. With all the other holiday traffic. I'm praying for them.
Mark's picking Rebekah up from college tonight. In all the holiday traffic. I'm praying for their safe travel.
One of my children has something going on that is worrying me greatly. Next week we start down the road for answers. I'm praying for that.
I'm so grateful for all my blessings, and, probably because of my brother dying when I was young I'm so aware that life can change in a literal blink of the eye. I'm praying.
I hope wherever you are, however you celebrate this Thanksgiving, that all goes well and that you can continue to take for granted the wonderful normal of your days.
I have 1 husband and 4 kids, 28, 20, 11 and 9...I'll be doing the mom thing forever, hence 4evermom.

It sounds like you have a lot going on in your life. Some concerns, (I do too) but many joys. Happy Thanksgiving to you. I just read your menu from my comment section and I think I'll come to your house! I can give you the biscuit recipe right here: 2 cups self rising flour mixed with 1 cup heavy cream. Roll them to 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. That's it! Makes 1 dozen.
My prayers have been with you all week my friend. I hope your Thanksgiving is peaceful and filled with love.
