Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are…
Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect Tomorrow.
One day I shall dig my nails into the earth,
or bury my face in my pillow,
or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky
and want, more than all the world, your return.

Thank you!

I appreciate the responses to my quandary.  I'm still mulling it over, but it did help me see there's lots of room for any position.  Matt, Lily, Jacob and Julianna will be getting their gifts that night.  I'm still not sure if I'll do anything besides gelt for the college kids or not.  Maybe some real gelt in the mix, I love that idea.

In related news, in case you ever know anyone in this situation, I found peanut-free gelt on line last night!  Oh! Nuts carries it and other peanut-safe products.  Woohoo!  They had a pretty good selection of Hanukkah items, including the candles I like to buy.  I was very happy to find them.

Gelt is such a traditional treat for my kids for Hanukkah, it wouldn't be Hanukkah for them without it.  I wanted Matthew to be able to experience the fun of chocolate coins too.  One of these days I'll probably rant my frustration about how hard it is to fine peanut-safe anything anymore.  Manufacturer's are really missing out on a big market, the way peanut allergies are on the rise.  It's impossible for me to believe that M&M's couldn't dedicate one of their factories to plain M&Ms.  Can you imagine living your whole life without M&Ms?  There are worse tragedies, I know, but still...  :)

Have a wonderful weekend.

Irresistible nuts, candies and chocolate
