Subtle differences to be sure. Most of them aren't that visible in the picture. In the "after" my color is deeper, richer. The length is a bit shorter, the curl is better defined, though I'm not sure if that's because of product/styling or something to do with the cut. I've never had a "dry" cut before, that was definitely an experience. Basically she just snips anywhere and everywhere to shape it, it's a cut specifically designed to enhance curly hair. It was a bit disconcerting after being used to an all-over uniform cut all of my life, but I can see the logic in it. I'm curious how my hair will be tomorrow and as the days go by as I style it myself. Excited with the possibilities, as Rebekah put it, cautiously optimistic.

I've never heard of a cut like that but I think it looks fantastic. I does seem to subtley enhance your curls. Very nice.
